H62 brass refers to ordinary brass with an average copper content of 62%. Copper alloy added with other elements on the basis of ordinary brass is called special brass, still represented by "H", followed by chemical symbols and average composition of other added elements.Ordinary brass has good mechanical properties, good plasticity in hot state, good plasticity in cold state, good machinability, easy brazing and welding, corrosion resistance, but easy to produce corrosion cracking. In addition, it is cheap and widely used as a common brass variety. H62 (i.e. four six brass). At room temperature β Compare α It is much harder and can be used for parts that bear a large load. α+β Two phase brass can be hot worked above 600 ℃. α+β Microstructure of two-phase brass: α It is a bright white solid solution, β It is an ordered solid solution based on CuZn. Strong electric field suppresses the cavity of H62 brass during high temperature deformation.
